Annual Day 2018 – ISRO Exhibition
It may be noted that the Annual Day Program with IISRO Exhibition and Seminar for three days during 21st-23rd September 2018 was very successful with participation of more than 4000 students from a large number of schools in Basirhat and its suburb region.
There was incessant flow of students (more than 4500 in three days) from several schools of Basirhat region to go around the Exhibition to have first line vision of a large number of working and static modules put up by IISRO in Satish Memorial Hall of BHS which was amply decorated and properly set up for the occasion. We had the inaugural function in this hall in presence of Shri J P Joshi ,Head EPC Division of IISRO, Dr Saibal Roy, Shri Swapan Roy, HM, BHS Shri Gautam Majumder, Chairman, SMC, Dr A Datta, President, AABHS and students and Teachers of several Schools of the region.There was screening of students for Quiz Show in the rooms at Western Building of our School followed by Final Quiz Competition for different Category by Quiz Master Kunal Mondal, (a KBC Expert) from Delhi supported by Quiz Masters from IISRO and AABHS. The occasion was properly covered by several top news agencies.
Audio visual shows were put up by IISRO Scientist Dr Ranjit De in one of the rooms in the first floor in the eastern part of Basirhat High School for three days continuously accompanied by question answers and explanation. Same thing was continued parallel by Shri Arindam Mal, Engineer of IISRO in another room. IISRO scientists and executives were so thrilled with energy and inquisitiveness of our students that all of them maintained that they had never seen such enthusiasm and expressed their satisfaction with our program. They had high admiration both for our students and all the organizers of AABHS for organizing such Exhibition cum Seminar.
It is worth mentioning that our alumni brothers and sisters did wonderful job of entertaining such large number of gatherings with breakfast and lunch. AABHS demonstrated that it can undertake and outperform for any such occasions.
